Harry Potter & the deathly hallow pt. 2 (BTS REVIEW)

I watched the behind the scenes to the final film to a classic series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2. While watching this footage I was really understanding and notice how the majority of these shots are really fake. Most of what makes the shot is done in post production. The scale of a project like this is also crazy, just seeing all the people on set is such a big jump from the scale now. But there is also a part of me that dislikes the fakeness of these shots. They just have so much technology where they can pull anything off so they don't have to get as crafty. It's also crazy to see how much money is put in a film like this and how efficient and organized they are. Somethings that also really stood out to me was how awkward it felt on set because it felt so stripped down. The music, color correction, visual effects, etc. are what really make the shot. What they are actually shooting on camera is a perfect base layer for all shots.  It seems like the actors are just so prepared and observant that they know exactly what to do. Everyone knows their role. In an interview with the executive producer, she says that there are 2900 visual effects shots in the film, this was a crazy number to me I can't even fathom editing 2900 shots with a team.  The sets in this film (even though most are in a warehouse surrounded by a green screen) are amazing and I have huge respect for the team that puts everything together. Overall this BTS was an eye-opening look that showed me the higher level of filming making and I was so impressed that everyone knows their places and they all do it so well.
