Sound Design Work
This is my sound design to the silent film. I started editing with finding music, I went on youtube and chose some 'silent film music' clip grabbed it and the put it in. Then I began to add atmosphere sounds to the film, such as birds, wind, and a track with people talking in the back-round. I wanted to get an authentic old film feel so I added an old film reel noise. This made it feel like I was watching it in a movie theater so I added a vignette over to give it a look.
Then I needed to add sound effects, so I went through a ton of sound effects gathering horse noises, scratching, metal, thick bed cover sounds, foot steps, wagon sounds, and others. I added all of these and matched them up with the film creating a realistic sound design to this silent film
